The day rate covers the nanny's time and hands-on care for your pet. On top of that, you cover the actual travel expenses: the nanny's flight, the airline's in-cabin pet fee, and lodging only if the route has no same-day return that allows pets in the cabin.
We look for the same-day turnaround first to keep costs down, and give you the full estimate before you commit. Nothing is added after the fact.

What is a pet flight nanny?
A flight nanny is a person who flies with your pet in the passenger cabin, hand-carrying them the whole way rather than shipping them in cargo. Your small dog or cat travels under the seat in an airline-approved carrier, in the cabin with us, from departure to your door.
How much does it cost?
Our flight nanny fee is $400 CAD per day, plus travel expenses. Expenses include the nanny's flight, the pet's in-cabin airline fee, and lodging if the trip can't be completed as a same-day turnaround. We give you the full estimate before you book, with no hidden add-ons.
Why would lodging be needed?
Some routes don't have a same-day return flight that allows pets in the cabin. When that happens, an overnight stay is required, and the lodging cost is included in your expenses. We always look for the same-day option first and only build in an overnight when the schedule forces it.
Which pets qualify for in-cabin travel?
In-cabin travel is for small dogs and cats that fit in an airline-approved carrier under the seat, on airlines that permit pets in the cabin. Weight and carrier-size limits vary by airline. Larger pets travel by ground transport or CargoJet air cargo instead.
What if my dog is too big for the cabin?
