Flying a pet in or out? We coordinate with airline cargo desks, meet your pet at cargo or arrivals, and drive them door to door. Common for international rescues, breeders shipping long distance, and buyers importing puppies from overseas.
From the tarmac to the front door
When a pet flies, the airport is only the halfway point. Someone still has to meet the flight, complete the release, and get the animal safely to its final address. That is what we do.
If the pet travels as manifest air cargo, we collect from the airline's live-animal cargo facility and handle the paperwork with the cargo desk. If the pet flies in the cabin with a person, we meet them at arrivals. For international arrivals we coordinate the customs broker and CDC requirements before the pet ever lands, so there are no surprises at the terminal.
From there it is a door-to-door drive in a dedicated vehicle, only your pet on board, with the same care and updates as any of our ground trips.

Common crossing point for pets flying into Maine. We meet at cargo or arrivals and drive onward into Canada or further into the US.
Boston Logan
Major international gateway. We handle CDC paperwork coordination and pick up from cargo, then drive to New England or up to the Maritimes.
Buffalo Niagara
Preferred crossing for Ontario-bound pets flying into the northeastern US. Short drive to the Peace Bridge.
Niagara Falls International (NY)
Small, fast, and close to the border. Ideal for pets flying cargo into the Niagara region.
Detroit Metro
Main Michigan hub. Short drive to Windsor via the Ambassador Bridge or Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.
Toronto Pearson
Canada's largest airport. We pick up from live animal cargo terminals and drive onward across Ontario or to the Maritimes.
Moncton International
Home base for our CargoJet relationship. Pets flying into the Maritimes land here and drive to their final destination.

What is airport pet pickup and drop-off?
It is a service where we meet a pet arriving by air, at the cargo facility or arrivals depending on how they travelled, and drive them door to door to their final destination. It is common for pets flying long distances, international rescue imports, and buyers whose puppy is flying in from a breeder.
Which airports do you serve?
We regularly work Bangor (BGR), Boston Logan (BOS), Buffalo Niagara (BUF), Niagara Falls NY (IAG), and Detroit Metro (DTW) in the US, and Toronto Pearson (YYZ), Moncton (YQM), and Fredericton (YFC) in Canada. If your airport is not listed, ask us; we cover a wide radius from both our Ontario and New Brunswick hubs.
Do you pick up from cargo or from arrivals?
Both, depending on how the pet is flying. Pets travelling as manifest air cargo are collected from the airline's live-animal cargo facility. Pets flying in the cabin with a person come out through arrivals. We confirm which one applies before the flight and coordinate with the airline's cargo desk when needed.
Can you handle a pet flying in as cargo?
Yes. We coordinate with the airline cargo desk, complete the release paperwork, and collect the pet from the live-animal terminal. How much does an airport pickup cost?

What do I need for an airport pickup that crosses the border?
For US-bound dogs you need a CDC Dog Import Form receipt, a readable microchip, and the dog must be at least 6 months old. A licensed customs broker clears the shipment. We walk you through all of it; see our cross-border requirements page.
